Marathi is a language spoken in India in the state of Maharashtra, located on the western coast of the country. Other countries are also home to many Marathi speaking people. It is spoken by 65 million people around the world. This language is based on Sanskrit, and the script is called Devnagri. The font is developed using an English keyboard. We used the font developed by Mr. Shri Krishna Patil from California. The people that can read Marathi can enjoy this site along with the English speaking people. Many sites have been made in European languages, but this was especially challanging because it was in a totally different script.
