History has brought about many inventors, some greater than others. It is these people that have made electricity such a big part of our lives. All of the inventors associated with electricity are responsible for inventing all of our many electrical appliances and for establishing the principles and laws of electricity. Some of the names of inventors are recognized by everybody, such as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison. Yet, very few people have ever heard of inventors such as Michael Faraday, and others like him that have done things just as great.
Even though many of the historic inventors are long dead, their inventions are still being used today. For example, Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone has become a marvelous invention in today's society. Many other inventors have created things that most of us would hate to give up.
