Vladimir Lenin (1870 - 1924)

A Russian revolutionary first leader of the USSR and communist. Active in the 1905 Revolution, Lenin had to leave Russia when it failed. He settled in Switzerland in 1914, and returned to Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution and became the leader of the Soviet Government. He concluded peace in Germany and organized a white Russian uprising. He modified Marxist Doctrine into Marxism - Leninism.
