Walt Disney (1901-1966)

A famous film-maker who pioneered family entertainment. He and his brother Roy established an animation studio in Hollywood in 1923 and is famous for characters such as Mickey Mouse. He is also famous for other films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938), Bambi (1942) and Cinderella (1950). He also built world famous themes parks such as Epcot Center and Disney World. Today his company is one of the biggest media and entertainment corporations in the world.
