Sunshine
There are six steps in the process of the sun making sunshine. The fire on Earth is
nothing compared to the deadly solar flares of the Sun. Sunshine is the light rays you see
coming off the Sun and making light on our Earth. First off, two hydrogen nuclei,
separated at first, join together. One proton changes into a neutron and a positron
and a neutrino escape. A deuteron nucleus, with proton and one neutron, meets a
hydrogen nucleus (a proton.) Then, a deuteron nucleus, and a proton smack into each
other, resulting in light helium. The mix of everything above, a light helium
nuclei, happens somewhere else, and the two collide. Two protons, and two neutrons
fuse. The excess breaks away and the extra protons help form new helium. An
atom of regular helium, with two protons, and two neutrons, forms.
