These are some "testimonials" that were acquired by the Congestive
Heart Failure Team from our elderly and middle-aged neighbors. When
possible we use the persons first name, but in order to keep from
inconviencing these people we tried to keep these conversations
brief.
- Last May (1998) I underwent five heart bypasses. I was attached
to all kinds of exercise machines so they could monitor my heart.
Before I left the hospital, my doctor told me to get my exercise by
walking. So, every day since I've walked. On the days that I didn't
walk, I felt puny all day long. Every night I walk around the track
at the high school five times (1 1/4 miles). I haven't had any
trouble since!
