My father had triple bypass surgery approx. 12 years ago. At that time, the doctor stated that his condition was the worst she has ever seen in 21 years of practicing. My father was told that with a good diet and exercise he could live seven more years. However, my father is a fighter and it's been 12 years since his surgery. However, lately we have noticed some real changes. My father is so fatigued and sleeps and/or take naps every day. Also, he can't even visit with his friends because he gets so tired. Futher, it appears that he is not getting enough oxogen. A few months ago he was rushed to the hospital because he had signs of a heart attack. All test were normal and the doctor stated he did not have a heart attack. Therefore, they recommended a lung specialist. His lungs appear fine and the doctors do not know why he is so tired. My father is on alot of medication but I do not have that information with me today. Is this signs of CHF? Again, the doctors state that they can't find anything wrong with him. I believe it could be early signs of CHF due to his age and prior health history. If anyone has any ideas or information, please e-mail me at lchew@softcom.net. I thank you for your time.
