Karen---It is not my intention to upset you
in any way, but if your doctors are dancing around the issue, you
may want to get another opinion. My experience has been that CHF
carries with it a complex medical regimen which is specific to each
patient. Your doctors shoud be well-versed in the statistics
regarding viral cardiomyopathy. At the very least they need to have
a potentially difficult conversation with you and your husband. I'm
thinking that if they were skilled in the art of managing CHF
patients, I would think they COULD do it--it is always very
difficult. Good luck.
