My husband was recently diagnosed with CHF
(dilated cardiomyopathy). Last January he was hospitalized for what
was thought to be a heart attack, but turned out to be
cardiomyopathy caused by a virus. This past September he was
hospatilized for CHF. We have been told that his cardiomyopathy has
gotten "progressively" worse. He is now on a regimen of medications
and seems to still get short of breath, fatigued and has tightness
in the chest. We are trying to find out the truth regarding
prognosis, etc., but the docs dance around our questions. Does
anyone out there know anything about this that might help?
