Arab Street

Arab Street as we know from the name is where the community of Arabs stayed when they first came to Singapore. Arab Street is adjoining to Kampong Glam. From the Sultan Mosque, one can take a few minutes walk to the Arab Street. The Arab Street is a beautiful place. Here, you can purchase perfumes of jasmine scent and others; textiles sold here are of different variety. At Arab Street, you can purchase many sovereigns but you must haggle as the things sold there are a little over-priced as the spot is as well-known "must –see" tourist sight.
