Singapore BirdPark

This is the largest bird park in the region. It covers 20.2 hectares and has over 500 birds of 450 species from over the world. Exotic birds such as the Bird of Paradise have made this place their home. The Southeast Asian Birds Aviary is a showcase of the regions' exotic and endangered species. As part of the experience, there is a tropical thunderstorm that comes to the BirdPark at 12 noon daily. 1200 free-flying birds can be seen at the walk-in aviary which has the tallest man-made waterfall. The best  way to start the day at the BirdPark is to have breakfast with a group of friendly parrots as a host of songbirds serenade you.

 

Performance by the birds are held at different times of the day too. There will be   announcements about these performance.Walking is the mode of transport about the BirdPark One can also travel about the BirdPark by Panorail which cost two dollars for adults and one dollar for children.

 

Admission, including entrance to all shows, is S$7 for adults and S$2.50 for children.
