| Manipulator: It is a mechanically controlled device used in hazardous areas. A manipulator is in the form of clamps or pincers mounted on the end of an arm and controlled by mechanical linkages from a remote point.Of-course, being manipulators used in hazardous areas, scientists had to think of something that can protect the machine from the dangerous materials being handled. So the manipulators were situated behind a screen or a protector. |
