    As a result of intermarriages throughout the ages, Iranian, Arabic and a dash of Greek blood has produced a rich diversity of the Pamir's physical "type", and it is only where character is concerned that there is conformity.
    At a point of time arround 500 000 years ago first people settled in Matcha.
    Around 5 000 BC Iranian tribes founded the first settlements. They were a brave warriors, skilful cattle-breeders and craftsmen.
    As the centuries rolled on the communities became more prosperous. By this time (around 700 BC) the centres in ancient Sogdia, Bactria, Parfia were formed, which later were captured by Ahmenides from Iran.
    By 329 BC the army of Alexander Makedonsky reached the river Syr-Darya and founded Extreme Alexandria (now Hudjent).
