The Western part of Turkestan spine is sutuated in Turkestan-alpine zone of deep
breaks, therefore the displacement of earthly blocks of crust is very great.
Isolations of tops, which look like massive rocky piramids, is what distingnishing
feature of this region. The passes between tops are much lower than tops and the routs
to the summit are quite difficult and dangerous. This part of Turkestan spine is the
highest with powerful freezing.
The southern slopes are sloping more gently, and uppers of glaciers are very close
to crests of spine on the altitude till 4500 m.
From the north the rocky walls are open for strong winds. The weather can unexpectedly
change during the day. But it is usually warm and sunny in July-August. In dry seasons
the combined routes can become cleanly rocky.
There are a lot of cornices and
overhanging grounds, which depend on steepness of the wall. At the same time the
rocky walls are characterized by small quantity of cracks, therefore in bad weather
such walls can become impassable.
Climbing speicifity of a microrelief are monolits
with smooth surface without opportunity to get caught on. The route to the summit
should take up along the vertical cracks of various width. Therefore it's necessary
to have special equipment.
The first group of peaks is located around glacier Aksu,
and another-near the peak Piramidalny (5509), which also called region Asan-Usan.
