RAM

With RAM you must again check your motherboard to see if you have RAM slots available and if so what type of RAM slots they are.

The two most common types of RAM are EDO and SDRAM. They require different type of slots each and you need to check which your motherboard has. Most newer motherboards only have SDRAM

Some older motherboards require you to have certain combination of RAM in order for it to read the total size correctly. You will need to consult your motherboard manual to see if this is the case and also what sizes you are able to have.

RAM chips have different MB sizes. This is how much that chip will add to your total system pool. Two 32MB RAM chips will equal 64Mb ot Total RAM

Depending how much RAM you currently have you may see a great improvement or you may not.

Around 64MB to 128MB is the suggested size.
