Unfortunately you cannot see where the RAM is inside my computer as it is covered by a cable.

What is it?

RAM, or Random Access Memory can also be know as PRIMARY storage. This holds data and program instructions for processing the data.

It only temporary stores data because when you turn the computer off it looses power and any data contained in it.
