The Borderless World Bulletin Board uses the pre-written Message Board script supplied by Thinkquest.
All other CGI scripts are completely original, specifically written for this site by Team 27384. These include the Borderless World Web Site Manager, the Contact Database, the Search feature, the link submission in User Pages, and the student quizzes, user poll and user-added links throughout the Three Gorges Exercise. All of the Borderless World CGI scripts are written in Perl. They have been tested extensively for bugs and security problems. Library cgi-lib.pl, written by Steven Brenner and pre-installed on the TQ server, was used in all scripts for initial POST data parsing. |
