Of all the problems that have arisen from [allotransplants] and [xenotransplants], the most complicated and major one, is rejection.

Rejection is the response by the receipients' immune system. To the human body's system, any foreign body within the human body is considered a threat. Therefore, the system responds by attempting to kill off the foreign bodies.

The biggest challenge to transplantation of cells is overcoming rejection. Because there are few physical limits to organ transplant, therefore, by tricking or paralyzing the immune system, success would be achieved in organ transplant.
