Terence Parkin

Terence is the highest ranked male swimmer in South Africa. Terence is aspiring to win a gold medal in the Sydney Olympic Games. Terence is highly competitive and determined to reach the highest honour in sport. What makes Terence so special is that he is deaf and competes with swimmers who are not handicapped. He cannot hear the swimming gun, so a strobe light signals the begin of a race for him. Terence we are extremely proud of you and know that you will serve your country well in Sydney.
