BASE FORMS Some forms are the basis for folding many models. The folding of such forms is the integral stage of folding others, more complex figures. The completed model can be not similar to the initial base form, as the butterfly is not similar to a chrysalis, but, as well as the butterfly, at any stage of its transformation passes through the base form.
