|
In the Japanese literature 10-11 centuries are told, that per the fifth day of the fifth moon in old Japan the kusudama - colourful pendant spheres assembled from a paper was accepted to give each other. Them hung up in sleeping rooms above a pillow and on curtains, that they protected the people from illnesses. Inside of these spheres put aromatic herbs, as is reflected in the name: "KUSU" - the curative herb ", and "TAMA" - is translated as sphere, jewelry. When the words "KUSU" and "TAMA" are united, there is a change of a sound "T" on clearer "D" and as a result the word "KUSUDAMA" turns out. Per day of a holiday a kusudama attached to clothes: the men hung up them on belts, and the women decorated with them sleeves. And presently kusudama have not lost the curative influence and still salutarily influence mood of the people, and also are an ornament of many holidays. Alongside with classical models many author's works are created. Using a principle of pasting of modules in a sphere, try to experiment creation of the new forms. The kusudama is a good decoration, which will help to bring in a holiday to each house. Katrin and Yurii Shumakov
