Shell

by Katrin Shumakov

Use a square of paper.

1 Fold and unfold a sheet half-and-half.

2 Fold edges to the central crease.

3 Make folds by "valley", by dividing model on 8 equal parts.

4 Each eighth sections divide half-and-half, folding thus model by "plissage".

5 Fold of edge of "plissage".

6 Compress edges of "plissage" in a direction of arrows. Thus "plissage" is opened as though by fan. At first do this and subsequent steps for one side, then for another.

7 By combining the edges, fold corners as shown. Note, that the corners are fold in opposite directions.

8 Insert the edges into the next crease so that the external corner has appeared wrapped up inside. For the greater rigidity lock, straighten a corner at the centre by a tweezers or other flat subject. During assembly of the second party it is necessary to hold the first lock.

9 The collar has turned out which can become a part of a celebratory garlande or independent ornament.

10 Undertake for locks and bring them in the direction shown by the arrows.

11 Shell is ready!
