Envelope

Use a rectangle of paper, for example, format A4 (21 by 29,7cm) or multiple to it. Also, it is possible to use "Letter" format (8,5 by 11 inches)or multiple to it.

1 Valley fold the rectangle in half from bottom to top. Then unfold it.

2 Make a fold-mark, by 'valley' folding.

3 Valley fold the corners to meet the middle fold-line.

4 Valley fold the left- and right-hand edges to meet the middle fold-mark made in '2'.

5 Valley fold the top valve.

6 Valley fold the bottom edge up along the existing line.

7 The result. Turn the model over.

8 Valley fold and unfold the top edge down along the adjacent edge.

9 Open out the back flap. Turn the model over.

10 Lift the valve upward.

11 Fold over and over the bottom edge, inserting it under layers as shown.

12,13 Valley fold the valve down and the envelope is ready!
