Assembly

For each of four pillars, use a square of paper, 5x10 cm in size.

1 Take a thin cylindrical subject, for example, plastic knitting-needle by a diameter about 5 mm. Start at one side rolling tightly.

2,3 Pull slightly knitting-needle and compress edge of a roll by fingers.

4 Pull a knitting-needle a little more.
5 Turn the model around an horizontal axis so that the flattened tip has turned to you. Now slightly compress by fingers in the specified places.
6 Pull all knitting-needle and repeat 3 and 5 steps.

7 Pillar for a sand-glass is ready!
