Use a rectangle of paper, approximately 3x1 in proportion.
1 Fold and unfold a strip half-and-half.
2,3 Postpone from above square and bend it on itself.
4 Turn on other party.
5 Fold and unfold the lateral edges to the central line. Turn the model over.
6 Make creases by “lightning”, resulting lines of folds planned in the previous step, to the central line.
7 Fold and unfold corners of the top layer. Turn the model over.
8 Fold and unfold corners of a near layer.
9 Open out the top crack and omit downwards corner in middle, pressing thus on corners and squash them into triangles.
10 Valley fold the side edges, pressing thus on the top corners and squash them into triangles. Unfold them.
11 Now unwrap the model and valley fold the top square in half.
12,13 Valley fold the lateral edges to the central line. Turn the model over.
14 Valley fold and unfold the corners.
15 Open layers and omit top downwards, opening thus corners.
16,17 Unwrap model.
18 Mountain fold the top square back.
19 Continue to fold in space. Move together the lateral edges, pressing in the middle and forming a deepening on the top. Then move together up to the end, latching thus model.
20 Mountain fold the top edge back.
21 Valley fold the top edge, lifting a back layer.
22 Pressing on a corner, move the right flap to the left and fold the right edge to the central line.
23 Valley fold the flap to the right.
24 Repeat step 22 for the left edge.
25 Valley fold the flap to the left.
26 The result.
27 Valley fold and unfold the corners.
28 Inside reverse fold the corners.
29 Insert the corners under layers.
30 The result. Turn the model over.
31 Compress the model in the marked place and push the walls of creases, inserting squares inside.
32,33 Compress the model in the marked place, mountain fold the top to back.
34 The result. Turn the model over.
35 Insert the corners of flaps into the internal pockets of 'heart'.
36 Sink the corners, thereby making the shape of the heart.
37 Mountain fold the bottom corners. Repeat it behind.
38 And the bookmark for the sentimental novel is ready!
