Trihedral vase

Use a square of paper.

Also it is possible to use a paper by a format A4 to made a vase of other size.

If you wish to receive a vase of certain height, for example 30 cm in height, the initial square should be on one third more than desirable height, in this case you should take 40 cm square.

1 Valley fold the paper in half on a vertical. Unfold it.

2 Valley fold the lateral sides in half to meet the middle line.

3 Valley fold and unfold the corners.

4 Valley fold and unfold the bottom edge as shown.

5 Valley fold and unfold the bottom edge to meet the horizontal fold-line made in step 4.

6 Valley fold the left-hand edge on the planned line.

7 Valley fold the bottom left-hand corner over to meet the adjacent fold-line. Then unfold the left front flap.

8 Valley fold the paper in half on the planned line.

9 Valley fold the bottom left- and right hand corners over to meet the adjacent fold-line. Then unfold the front flap.

10 Valley fold the left edge on the planned line.
11 Valley fold the bottom left-hand corner over to meet the adjacent fold-line.
Then unfold the left front flap.
12 Valley fold the top edge approximately on 5-7 mm.
13 Valley fold and unfold on bottom edge of the bent strip.
14 Step fold the bottom of paper on existing fold-lines.
15 Insert one section of the left-hand edge under the layer of the right-hand edge.
16 Mountain fold the top edge on existing fold-line.
17 Bottom view. Reduce the internal layers to the centre.
18 Valley fold the corners on the planned creases.
19 This should be the result.
