Vase "Star"

Use a square of paper.

1 Valley fold the opposite corners together in turn to mark the diagonal fold-lines, and open them up.

2 Turn the paper over.Valley fold the opposite sides and edges together and open them up.

3 Move together lateral corners, simultaneously approaching the top corner to bottom.

4 Here is completed the "square base" or "preliminary fold". Open out the right-hand flap of paper and squash it into a triangle.

5 Repeat step 6 for other sides.

6 Valley fold the right-hand flap over to the left, as though turning the of a book. Repeat it with the back side.

7 Valley fold the bottom point to top. Repeat it for other sides.

8 Valley fold the model in half from top to bottom. Unfold it.

9 Valley fold and unfold the front flap as shown. Repeat it for other sides.

10 Unwrap.

11 Valley fold the point 1 to the centre.

12 By pressing in a place marked by a pink point, valley fold theright-hand edge, simultaneously resulting a point 2 in the centre.

13 Repeat the previous action, resulting in the centre a point 3.

14 Then point 4.

15 Point 5.

16 Point 6.

17 Point 7.

18 Point 8.

19 There is some bend one corner.

20 Make an excess as shown in figure.

21 Open "pocket".

22 Make two excesses.

23 Bend a corner, simultaneously reducing the lateral sides.

24 Repeat the previous action for other seven corners.
25 Fold and unfold in the specified places on borders of the top creases.
26 Open a vase, accurately pressing on lateral walls in the specified places.

27 Vase “Star” is ready!
