Cube

by Yurii Shumakov

This model folds from rectangular sheet, for example, format A4 (21 by 29,7cm) or multiple to it. Also, it is possible to use "Letter" format (8,5 by 11 inches)or multiple to it.

1 Fold a sheet, combining his bottom edge with the right lateral edge and unfold.

2 Fold top of a sheet as shown in figure.

3 Fold a sheet half-and-half and unfold.

4 Make creases, combining the top and bottom edges with middle of a sheet.

5 Open.

6 Fold a sheet on the earlier planned crease.

7 Fold a sheet half-and-half and unfold.

8 Left edges fold and unfold, and right fold to the central crease.

9 Generate creases, paying attention on types of lines (mountain, valley). The correct performance of these operations will facilitate assembly of model.

10 On this step the model already gets the volumetric form.

Fold lateral walls, simultaneously putting forward corners in the direction shown by the arrows and forming thus third wall of a cube.

11 Lowering the top wall a cube, compress corners and fill them in creases of the lateral sides.
12,13 Press a forward wall downwards and cover by its back side, simultaneously lifting the right lateral wall.
14 Accurately fill edge under the top wall of a cube.

15 Cube is ready!
