How
Michelle searched for the Lost Diagrams

The
interview with Michille Tait (11 years old, NewYork), which
has become one of the first Best Scouts of Oriland.
How
did you find the first lost diagram?
I clicked on one
of the many of the different characters, in Oriland. Than I read what
they had to say, he told me that he had something, I looked, and he would
produce a lost diagram! It was so much fun and really mysterious, because
you never knew where they would pop-up, in houses, bushes, and from people.
What
helped you in your search?
I
clicked on everything rapid fire, I then scrolled down in the message
box and read if the people had anything for me, if the houses hid anything
from me, or if it was hiding under a bush. I could tell if they had something
if it said "Look".
What
place to you was pleasant to you more?
I
thought that all the places were cool, but I thought San-Elf beat all.
I liked it so much because of the fairy flying around and it was the place
where I found my first lost diagram!
How
long have you been involved in origami?
I
have been involved in origami since I was five, I invented my first model
when I was five (the note-pocket heart). I'm 11 now, so I have been involved
in origami for 6 years now. I enjoy teaching classes, taking classes,
and watching classes in session.
Are
you a member of any origami-society?
Yes,
I am. I am involved in two origami societies. The OUSA (Origami USA),
and the Hungarian one (Hungarigami).
Have
you made the "jasmine" from the lost diagrams found by you?
Yes,
I have. I thought it was a very nice model and it would be a nice flower
to put on a wreath.
What
do you want to wish the guests and inhabitants of Oriland?
I
want to wish the guests of Oriland as good as a time that I had and good
luck on finding those cool diagrams. I want to wish the inhabitants of
Oriland a THANK YOU VERY MUCH! for helping me find those diagrams, it
really meant a lot to me.

What
is Oribana?
When
Katrin and Yurii Shumakov have begun to create paper compositions, they
would like to think up for them any special word. Then they have taken
two words: an "Origami" and "Ikebana", have united them and as a result
the very beautiful word "Oribana" has appeared.
