The primeval Human overcame ten
thousands of kilometers through deserts and mountains of Central Asia and reached
the severe spaces of Siberia not without reason, held down by ice and snow. He went on in
search of food. In those far times the hunters - neanderthalens were almost always hungry.
Their life entirely depended on success in hunting.
And therefore, they constantly had to move from one place to another place to be
always near the large animals. They followed herds of mammoths, rhinoceroses, horses and
deers to search the convenient place for hunting on herd or to search separate weak
animals. Along the path they hunted for a small-sized living creatures, sometimes caught
fish. In case of successful hunting large animals they stayed for some days, built
tents from branches and skins and did not abandon a place as long as there was meat. Then
again departed in search herds.
So, by roads of mammoths the people have came in
Siberia for the first time. To survive in conditions of Siberia, the Human should have
many skills: to know how to make fire or even to save it for a long time, to saw
warm clothes fitting the whole body, to build dwellings and protective structures
from wind and snow, to strengthen and to warm natural refuges. The first groups of
hunters, by everything, did not remain in Siberia for a long time. Ones again, left on the
south, others could not return and were compelled to remain. Many of them, if not
everyone, perished from sharp changes of temperature or from hunger, could not to adapt to
severe conditions of the Ice Age of Siberia.
About 45-40 thousand years ago the new stage began in life of the ancient Human.
The archeologists name it " The Upper Palaeolithic Age ". This time in Siberia
there was already constant population. They were the people very similar to us. In Altai
and Sayn mountains, on the banks of the large Siberian rivers - the Ob, the Yenisei, the
Lena, the Angara, the Amur - and their inflows the archeologists found large stands which
existed 45-10 thousand years ago. Dwellings, burial places of the people, stone and bone
tools, extremely skilfully made, products of most ancient art and many other rests of
active ability to live here are found. On all ancient stands in Siberia the scientists
necessary find the bones of mammoths, bisons, rhinoceroses and other representatives of the
Mammoth Fauna. Due to this animals lived in Siberia the ancient Human could put up and
survive here.
