Mammoths in America.
In photos the fragments of excavation of large mammoth cemetery in the state Dakotta are represented. Here, on ground layer, the remains scores of mammoths lay.
Judging by the sizes of this and many other similar findings in the Northern America, the population of mammoths was very numerous here. As well as in  Siberia, the American mammoths  died out at the  end of the Pleistocene - beginning with the Holocene.
