Mammoths in America.
In photos the
fragments of excavation of large mammoth cemetery in the state Dakotta are
represented. Here, on ground layer, the remains scores of mammoths lay.
Judging by the sizes of this and many other similar findings in the Northern
America, the population of mammoths was very numerous here. As well as in Siberia,
the American mammoths died out at the end of the Pleistocene - beginning with
the Holocene. |
