The first atmosphere mainly consisted out of hydrogen and Helium. Because it was so hot, it was impossible for the hydrogen to build a H2 molecule. In addition, they are so small that many hydrogen atoms got lost until there were so few, that the hydrogen atoms weren’t dominating anymore. The second atmosphere was built out of hydrogen, helium, carbonate, oxygen and nitrogen. The earth cooled down, which was the reason why combinations were possible. CH4, H20,NH3 and O2 developed and again the earth got colder. The third atmosphere consisted out of CH4, H2O,NH3,H2 and Helium. The UV- radiate destroyed most of the combinations. After the worlds temperature dropped below 100° Celsius, water condensed and it started to rain for a couple of million years. First, the water that touched the surface of the earth (which was still hot) immediately evaporated. Because of this process it probably started to rain for some million years until at last, the earth had the ideal temperature, that water wouldn’t evaporate and the basins of today’s oceans were flooded with water. After that, the water level raised and crusts were probably built which caused the oxidation to be stopped. Plants could grow and produce oxygen. Water animals slowly developed. Later, the atmosphere contained enough oxygen for the evolution of air-breathing land animals.
The highest cliffs of the world are at the north coast of Molokai, an island of Hawaii. They are 1005m high, more than three times as much as the Eiffel tour in Paris.
