Text: One of the most impressive works written by Mozart... The Allegro main theme is obsessive, and it is repeated through the entire exposition, development and recapitulation with such beautiful variations! And the last page of the first movement is frightening, when the instruments play obsessively the main theme in fortissimo: in the last bars, when the four instruments play "all'unisono", the music remembers the second movement of Beethoven's fourth concerto for piano. The second movement is very intense, and fully enjoyable after the grief of the Allegro. But the real surprise comes with the last movement: a joyous rondo in G major with a delightful main theme. It seems to me that Mozart would recall the pain of the first movement when he wrote the passage in E minor.
