Text: An absolutely incredible piece. While some may complain that its textures are too thick, I believe that the frequent use of double stopping in all the string parts lends a sound that is unique and quite unlike any other string quartet I can mention. The piece is very deep and resonant, and Grieg's nationalistic qualities show through immensely. A wonderful work, I highly recommend it.
