Text: The Lyric Suite is a fabulous piece of music. Even if you don't like the atonal and serial music you have heard, check out this piece. Berg once said that "I can compose a row without anyone knowing it", meaning that his music reminds the listener of more traditional music, thus drawing him/her further into Berg's sound-world.
The Biographical aspects of the Lyric suite are fascinating. Read them at http://www.geocities.com/al6an6erg/albanberg.html

Text: I'm analyzing the first movement of this quartet for a class and it is very thick. Berg draws heavily on 12 tone conventions but at the same time bends many of the rules. He also incorporates other compositional techniques as well. As far as the form of the piece, well, I haven't gotten that far yet. One has to give the piece a few good listens to begin to hear things but they're there if you work at listening.

Text: Great piece... too bad Berg's music (and most other modern music) is largely overlooked by the public.
