The block Museums, in the center of Sarajevo, is a extremely important political and cultural center of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the same area one can find the National Forum, the Land Museum, the Museum of the Revolution, the University of Sarajevo, the international hotel Holiday Inn, the headquarters of the industry giant UNIS, and other important buildings. One of the first buildings built in this area is the Land Museum, built in 1913, by the plan of architect Carl Parzik. The UNIS towers, the highest buildings in B&H, which were destroyed in a powerful blaze in May 1992.The pictures of Holiday Inn, the international hotel inthe center of Sarajevo and a part of the block Museums. This hotel undertook sever destruction during the war.After the war it was renovated and once again regained it’s former glory.
