Depth Perception

    An important part of perception is how we view depth. When you look around, you see a world in three dimensions. When you look at an object, your mind understands when it is in front of something else, its three-dimensional shape, and how far away it is. This section describes how we perceive depth and how artists and illusionists have used tricks to distort our perception of depth.
