Color PerceptionIf our eyes could only measure the intensity of light around us, everything that we see would be in shades of black, white, and gray. At low levels of light our eyes are only capable of seeing these shades. However in brighter light colors take form and we can see countless shades of reds, blues, purples, yellows, and other colors.
