        It has partially webbed front legs allow it to wade into shallow water and even dive to catch fish. This cat is an excellent fisherman, waiting patiently for its prey to swim by. Its skin has very special properties. When in water, only the outer, longer and rougher fur gets wet, The inner layer of fur remains dry. This fierce-tempered cat has been seen to kill a leopard twice its size.
        It lives in Sri Lanka, Southwest India up to Pakistan and Kashmir, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, South China, Sumatra and Java. This animal are most common in area with thick cover such as humid forests, mangrove swamps and marshy areas. Water must be present.
