Changing Your Colour Depth

SolarQuest was designed to be run in 16bit (65535 colours) colour depth or higher.   You are currently running your monitor in a colour depth of 8bit (256 colours) or less.   However, If your monitor does not support this colour depth then you can still use Solarquest although images in the site will seem corrupted.

To change your colour depth in Microsoft Windows, Right Click on the desktop, select properties.  From the display properties menu, go to the settings tab and change the Colours setting to High Colour then hit Apply.   If your screen displays lines waving across the screen then immedietly hit escape to restore to 256 colours (this means your monitor cannot handle this colour depth)
