Newspapers
They
give information and cover stories in detail, but they cannot compete with TV or
radio which are the first to report the news as they can interrupt their
programs to broadcast the newest event. But television and radio are at a
disadvantage so far as the thorough coverage of news is concerned because they
have larger staff and more space. People can take time to read and enjoy the
articles. Further more, newspapers are able to print material that concerns only
a small portion of their readers whereas a newscast may lose much of its
audience if it does not please a large number of people.
