We find it is one of the oldest art of communication. People probably started to sing as soon as language was organised in Ancient Times. Around the world, music takes many forms. European, American, African and Asian music are all different from one another and express different cultures, races as well as ideas and feelings; however, all music lovers are united while listening to a particularly "Poignant" melody, whatever its origin acting as a universal means of communication. As the old saying goes: "Music has a peace making effect and sweetens ones mood". Whenever the language barrier is present, with the help of music, this can be lifted right out.

Now, music is performed with electronic instruments and computerized equipment (Computers) for personal activities, social events, at work and during religious ceremonies.

Different cultures have different ways to dance and scientists believe it can reveal much about their way of life.

A dancer can, by it's body language express joy,  anger, and  helplessness, without actually saying a single word.  Dance is used as therapy, in courtship and in worship.  Two major kinds of dancing are social and theatrical dancing.  Of course, dances have  changed over the years, but folk dancing remain still popular, while revealing the customs and traditions of populations. Modern dances keep thousands of adepts.

In ancient times both sacred and non-religious dancing existed.  During the middle ages, dances were prohibited, but with the renaissance, dancing became more popular than ever. This continued in the 1600's and the 1700's.

In the 1800's the waltz came fashionable leading us to the  90's  with the rock 'n roll  and  disco's and break dancing.
