"TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE - SANDF - Group 20 Golf Day"

In true competitive spirit the SA Nat. Defence Force - Group 20 will be hosting A Golf Day in support of the commemorations of the A.B.W. at the sensationally scenic Leopard Park Golf Club. A Fee of R 120,00 p.p. Will be charged which incl. meals & commemorative items etc. - All Day

"Wreath laying Ceremony & Memorial Service"

The ceremony & service will be enhanced with the noteworthy participation of the Light Horse Regiment (the regiment that relieved Mafikeng during the siege). Concentration Camp Burial Grounds on the Vryburg Road, Mafikeng 09H00

"5 km Old Mutual - Run Against Crime"

Step into your Nikes - and do the five km run presented by the Lions Club of Mafikeng , sponsored by Old Mutual, Mafikeng. Prizes to be won. Morning.

"Unveiling of the effigy of Kgosi Wessels Montshiwa"

Im honour of the role that the Barolong Boo Ratshidi fulfilled during the Siege. At the Kgotla of the Barolong Boo Ratshidi, Montshiwa Mafikeng. The ceremony will also be facilitated with the participation of the Light Horse Regiment.12H00

"Yester Year - A.B.W. Presentation"

Dr. John Bottomley & Dr. Bernard Mabenga (to be confirmed) will be conducting a highly informative presentation - followed by entertainment from the renown National Chamber Orchestra and A Cheese & Wine Party. The North West Arts Council, Mmabatho, Mafikeng (Mega City - Opposite Pick & Pay) 19h00

"Time Warp - Historical Tour of Mafikeng"

The stuff that dream are made of.... At the state of the art Mmabatho Convention Centre, Mafikeng. This classically formal ball will be hosted by the Mafikeng A.B.W. Committee. 19h30
