Surfing changes you a lot. Everybody believes that once you've started surfing
you're immediately going to start wearing sandals and board shorts everywhere.
Well, that's kind of true, but not quite...You don't actually have to, but it
becomes a kind of instinct to go for the more comfortable, instead of the
stylish.
The surfing lifestyle is unique. Once you start surfing, you start worrying
less about stuff that you would have worried about before. Surfing
generally inspires a punk theme: surfers want the freedom to do what they
want, when they want to do it.
