Janice Dru
I, Janice Dru, entered this world on January 25th 1982. Immediately, I began to cry :). But soon thereafter, I discovered many facets of the world which brought to light various thing that fascinate me. I found myself dabbling in the visual arts, creative writing, scientific research, and playing with kids. As soon as our family received our first computer, when I was about ten years old, I found another medium to explore. Soon, I was using the computer daily for research and writing. Just recently, I have begun to develop an interest in graphic design, computer programming and languages, and "making stuff" with computers.
I also like to run, although it is not a thing I do very well either; I get upset when something cannot be found, which is very often, or when my computer crashes. In my hours of studying the web, I discovered the ThinkQuest site. When I finally connected with a group serious about completing an entry, I was a little dubious about the theme "HAIR." But after reading articles, studying the educational value of the subject, and really getting interested in hair beyond how it looks, I have found myself devoting even more hours to the production of this website.
For this website I did: a lot of editing, further design, graphics, informational articles, and a few other things as well. I not only had a lot of fun but I learned a lot in the process!
