Make Time For Yourself

Take a 20-25 minute breather each day. Make this time just for you. By making this time just yours you can refresh your "psychic batteries".  This can actually increase productivity during the day. During your break, you should be doing something that makes you happy. Whether it's going for a nice walk, calling a friend, or a bubble bath with a nice book. This is just for you. Try to make a "refresher list" of the things you like doing the most. Check off which one you'd like to do the next day and then go at it. Make this list part of your "to do" list. Don't feel guilty at all about taking this time just for yourself.

Celebrate your Success

Appluad the things you do well. A good way to keep record of your accomplishments is to make a journal. Record all the little victories you get. Whether it's losing 4 pounds, a job promotion, or maybe even getting to work on time - what ever has significance to you as a job well done. In your journal, you can write little congrat notes or put in a nice photo. This will make you feel good, and this can give you the incentive to take even more control.

Establish Support Networks

There will times when you need a helping hand, this is for certain. Sometimes you need to reach out for support. Whether it's picking up your mail while you're away, or a ride when your car won't start. Therefore, establishing a support network is very important. Asking others for help makes them feel good. Just don't rely on only one person because they will be overloaded. Also, return the favour so you establish equality in your relationships.
