Vitamin B6 is also known as Pyridoxine. Major dietary sources of pyridoxine include organ meats, meat, poultry, fish, whole grain and enriched breads and cereals, legumes (dried beans), potatoes and bananas.

Major Body Functions:

>Aids in protein metabolism. Dietary requirements increase with increased protein intake.
>Helps in the conversion of tryptophan (an amino acid) to niacin (vitamin B3) >Helps with normal brain function
>Aids in the formation of red blood cells and synthesizing antibodies
