In the old centre of the town, blocks of chocolate
(Kg.1000 each!) are sculpted while lucky members of the public
eat any waste produced by the sculptors!
This is one of the most spectacular events of the festival. |

The theatre of Chocoholics (Teatro Pavone)
was built in the XVIII century in the historic centre of the town of Perugia. Every year,
during Eurochocolate, it's transformed into a big Café. |

The theatre of Chocoholics is the venue
for the presentation of the annual Eurochocolate Awards. There are four prizes:
"Words of Chocolate", " Hand-made Chocolate", "Factory-made
Chocolate" and a "Special Career Award" , each honouring a different aspect
of the world of chocolate. |
The public attending Choco Comix
enjoy the shows while tasting chocolates, liqueurs and coffee. During the event the most
famous names of the latest generation of Italian comic actors are on stage in the theatre
of Chocoholics. |

Did Etruscan eat
chocolate?
|
The Etruscan ChocoHotel is one of the
sweetest spots of the festival. This is the first hotel wholly dedicated to chocolate: the
guests can choose to sleep in a room on the Milk Chocolate Floor, on the Plain Chocolate
Floor or on the Hazelnut Chocolate Floor! In the restaurant a menu is available based
entirely on chocolate! |
The International Chocolate Gallery &
ChocoBazar is the exhibition space of the festival where you can find hundreds of
different chocolate products from all over the world. |
 |
The Smell of Chocolate is the best way to
celebrate the last day of the festival. During a big open air breakfast thousands of cups
of hot chocolate are distributed for free! |
