Dear web page reader and Internet Surfer:
Howdy Ho from the flat lands of Colorado. This is Laneha Beard writing to you as a co-conspirator in this web page of World War II. I am eighteen years old, and I raise sheep and cows. I have two dogs, two cats, one younger brother (who dwarfs me), and one mom, Valerie Beard, and one dad, Floyd Beard. Both of which work at the Springfield High School school district.
I'm six foot tall, blonde, and what some politically correct people would call - "very interesting." Don't get me wrong, I'm not that liberal; I just do what I think is right regardless of what others think of me. I like to read, write, hike, ski, swim, show sheep, ride horses, travel, play sports, and be creative.
I have lived in Springfield all of four years, and preceding my residence here, I abided in Delta County, Colorado for the first fourteen years of my life. Other than the tornadoes and blizzards that occur occasionally on the plains, I enjoy it here very much, but I miss the mountains.
I am involved in the Class of 1999, NHS, Band, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, FFA, 4-H, Salvation Army, First Baptist Church, and I own and operate my own business and sheep operation. I enjoy working on the web page because it allowed me to see and understand World War II better than any class I could have taken. I had to find out the facts and report them to you. All of my writing has been documented in the ending biblographies for your reference. I hope you enjoy the site and learn from it as much as I did preparing it for you.
Sincerely,
Laneha Beard
