: Recently I have been researching my father's WW II experience. His name was John K. Ruppert, served in 34th Army, 168th Infantry Regiment, Company C. From 1943 til 1946 he was in Italy, mostly from Naples to Rome.

: For the last six months, he was stationed in Caserta at Allied Forces Headquarters in what is not the Royal Palace.

: I'm looking for any information on this facility during the war. Also for info concerning Redeployment Depot in Naples.

: I've just begun to upload my dad's WWII photos to the site listed below. I have several hundred images but only have less than 50 uploaded thus far.

: Really appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge of this unit/geography/facilities.
